Founded in Amsterdam in 2004 by Don Morris and Aaron Yarkoni, DNA Genetics has built a global reputation for excellence, combining science, craftsmanship, and a passion for cannabis to produce some of the most sought-after strains in the world.
During their first month live with their e-commerce unit DNA Genetics saw a 55.43% of their revenue being attributed email. Notably their abandoned checkout flow pulled serious weight with a revenue per recipient metric of $4.06 meaning they were recovering $4.06 of revenue per checkout that was abandoned. During this launch period DNA Genetics was able to capture new site visitors at a rate of 6.43% which funneled straight into their welcome series and campaign sending that slowly but surely began converting.

Since beginning in January, Body Restore saw their attributed revenue jump from 5% in December to a peak of 42% in May. Through this period Body Restore saw a mass increase in open rates to their campaigns signaling strong deliverability and content relevance.
Flow open rates dipped in April and into May as paid media was scaled back leading to less-engaged users entering their flows but is actively being countered through a conditional split approach removing inactive users that would drag down their overall engagement.

Tacking the outdated flow strategy resulted in a full flow rebuild that meant implementing a conversion-focused strategy focused on best practices to increase the conversions per recipient as this would yield stronger results long-term with an increase in deliverability.
This increase in deliverability came as a result of a campaign strategy centered around doubling their monthly email campaign volume from 4 to 8 and using an engagement-based segmentation strategy that would increase email engagement and lead recipients lower down the funnel.
